Tom Kapitany - Geologists Travels - Rosie the Shark
18 February 2019
Never a dull moment. While I was in Tucson there were major earth works as well as redevelopment happening in Canberra at the National Dinosaur Museum, while at Crystal World we began the process of saving Rosie, the White Pointer shark, from being destroyed.
Both had major logistical issues...
Stanley, our T-Rex, weighs over 5,000kgs and needs a crane to hoist her into new foundations (she has been trying to escape lately now that the kids have gone back to school, I think she is getting hungry).
And Rosie needs a new home. With her tank weighing at least 5,000kg as well.
