This astounding Ammonite, Euaspidoceras sp. is from the Late Jurassic Period, found near Sakaraha in Madagascar. This Ammonite, while alive would have resembled a squid with a shell.
The matrix on the end of this Ammonite includes 2 negative Ammonite imprints as well as 1 positive Ammonite. There are several positive and negative shell inclusions also.
This Ammonite comes with a stand, made especially for it and the overall dimensions are, 1720mm tall, a base length of 760mm and a base width of 660mm.
The Ammonite’s individual measurements are 800mm tall, 660mm wide and 330mm deep.
