This Scyphocrinites Crinoid fossil is from the Upper Silurian era. Unlike other crinoids, these hung upside down at the surface of the water, they also have a lobolith, which is a floating sphere that kept them afloat in the water. These fossils are found at the fossil site located at Djebel Issoumour, Alnif in Morocco.
This fossil measures 700mm long, 480mm wide and is 30mm thick.
