This astounding Ammonite, Euaspidoceras sp. is from the Late Jurassic Period, found near Sakaraha in Madagascar. This Ammonite, while alive would have resembled a squid with a shell.
In the matrix on the end of this Ammonite are bivalves and also perisphinctes virguloides.
This Ammonite comes with a stand made especially for it and the overall dimensions are 1545mm tall, an upper width of 940mm, with a base length of 640mm and a base width of 500mm.
The Ammonite measures 730mm long, 570mm wide with a depth of 300mm.
